CMB boys struggle versus Bobcats, Chargers

MARSHALLTOWN - The Collins-Maxwell-Baxter boys’ soccer team suffered a 12-0 loss at the hands of Marshalltown May 19 at Marshalltown.

The Raiders got nothing going on offense, suffering their eighth loss in a row to fall to 2-11 on the season. Keeper Brendyn Padget made a valiant effort with 20 saves for CMB.

Trevor Fuccio and Oswaldo Rodriguez each put up a hat-trick with three goals apiece for Marshalltown. George Gomez added two goals and Manuel Garcia, Julio Gonzalez, Rene Gonzalez and Fernando Mendoza each delivered one score for the Bobcats.

MAXWELL - Collins-Maxwell-Baxter suffered a 7-2 home loss at the hands of Chariton May 17 in Maxwell.

Josh Bruntz and Ryan Sabastiano each netted a goal for CMB in a losing effort. Drake Ross came through with an assist for the Raiders.

CMB keeper Brendyn Padget made 10 saves in a losing effort. Alvaro Seco put up a hat-trick with three goals to lead Chariton.
