Bomber boys top Bluejays

HUXLEY - The Ballard boys’ soccer team notched its fifth win in a row May 19 at Huxley, closing out the regular season with a 5-4 victory over Bondurant-Farrar.

Connor Van Maaren and Wade Stocksleger combined to score all five Bomber goals.

Van Maaren put up a hat-trick with three goals, including a converted penalty kick. Stocksleger chipped in two goals.

John Fulk made 12 saves at keeper to help Ballard pull off the win and improve to 9-6 on the season. Jarrid Clark netted two goals, Ricky Onofre recorded one goal and two assists and Matt Yeager scored once for Bondurant-Farrar.
