Raider girls fall to Panthers, Cadets

KNOXVILLE - The Collins-Maxwell-Baxter girls’ soccer team put up a good fight before coming up short against Knoxville by a 3-0 score May 12 at Knoxville.

CMB got off four shots on goal in the loss. Tatum Tremain had two shots and Jillian Gibbons and Andee Joos finished with one apiece.

Amanda Harrington had an impressive 25 saves at keeper in a losing effort. The setback put CMB at 0-11 on the season.

MAXWELL - Collins-Maxwell-Baxter was dealt an 8-0 loss at the hands of Iowa Falls-Alden May 5 in Maxwell.

The Raiders had five shots on goal, suffering their 10th loss of the season. Jillian Gibbons and Tatum Tremain put up two shots on goal apiece and Brooke Lust added another one for CMB.

Amanda Harrington came up with 21 saves at keeper for CMB in a gritty effort.

Lindsay Aldinger, Brittany Fopma and Gabbie Vierkandt netted two goals apiece for Iowa Falls-Alden. Kayla Anderson and Emma Juhl each scored one for the Cadets.
