Collins-Maxwell-Baxter junior Brady Stover was named second-team all-state in baseball by the Iowa Newspaper Association in 2015.

Stover went 5-2 with an outstanding 1.58 earned-run average on the season to earn a spot on the INA second team in Class 2A. He amassed an impressive 91 strikeouts against 24 walks in 44 ? innings.

Stover also hit .267 with three doubles, one home run, 13 runs and nine RBI and steals apiece.

The INA 2A first team was made up of: pitchers Korey Kuhlmann of Maple Valley-Anthon Oto, Trace Hoffman of Western Dubuque and Brock Adams of Clear Lake; catcher Christian Rozeboom of Sioux Center; first baseman Trey Robinson of Treynor; infielders Jordan Rommes of South Winneshiek, Luke Farley of Columbus Catholic and Cole McDonald of New Hampton; outfielders Skyler Beller of Hinton, Mitch Keeran of Clear Lake and Caleb Wichmann of Underwood and utility picks Derek Lieurance of Cascade and Jordan True of Forest City.

Adams was named captain of the 2A first team.

Adams went 8-1 with an ERA of 0.44 and won five postseason games on the mound. On offense he hit .417 with 46 runs and 36 RBI.
