Ames indoor market encourages residents to shop local

Ames' first indoor market of the season was held Saturday morning at 500 Main Street.

Masks were required and there was space to socially distance, according to an online post by the market.

Additional market days are set for Nov. 28 and Dec. 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the same location. 

A number of local vendors had products available Saturday, including: Barrelly Conscious, Baked by Beth, Carlos Quesadillas, Cicotti Glass Art, Crafty Folks, Denise Mitchell, Dona Sewn Dolls, Jammed With Love, Jewell's Country Kitchen, Joygrow, Knob Hill Farm, Lee Green's, Little Pies & More, Naomi Friend, Omaura Skin, Pet Bistro, PnB Goodies, Purple Ribbon Beef, Santa Maria Vineyard & Winery, Simple Life, Silo House, Tie Dye Scott & Crafts, Upcycle, Walnut Creek Farm and Yellow Canary Studios.
