The Simple Life
The land in Iowa is pretty much farmed the same all over the state. However, if you live in some parts of the state, you can see some differences. The Amish still do most things following the Amish way of life, like planting their fields and managing the land that they plant. These two horses were being used to cultivate the land just south of Seymour recently. They are owned by an Amish farmer, who was very concerned about the land that was next to his. The runoff from the farm field was flowing into his organic cornfield. He rode behind these two horses in a single seat, cultivating up the land.
