The following students were named to the spring 2016 Central College dean’s list: Robert Askren, Polk City; Kevin Jack and Rachel Jack of Huxley, Emily Larkin of Cambridge and Courtney Ubben of Maxwell. This honor is awarded to full-time students who achieve a 3.5 GPA or higher while taking 12 or more graded credit hours for the semester.

Allyson Meiners of Polk City and Sydney Sears of Elkhart were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester at Buena Vista University. Students so named must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 for the semester, based on a 4.0 grade point system, and must have taken at least 12 hours of coursework.

Sydney Hedrick, a junior from Polk City, has been named to the honor list for the past spring semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato. A student must have a 3.5 to 3.99 average to qualify for the list.
