Iowa Public Television’s Dan Wardell to Visit Nevada Public Library

On Friday, July 7, at 10 a.m., Dan Wardell will be at the Huxley Safe Room. Wardell, popular host of IPTV KIDS Clubhouse, will travel to 75 local communities this summer as part of the annual Reading Road Trip.

Now in its tenth year, IPTV’s Reading Road Trip features an original, interactive story that is connected to this year’s summer library reading theme, “On your mark, get set… read!” Dan will take kids on an adventure as they compete against cosmic aliens during the Intergalactic Olympic Championships! Plus, every child attendee will receive a commemorative “space orb” for their efforts. Dan will encourage kids to do something one might not expect from a television personality — turn off the TV, go outside and play, eat healthy snacks, use their imagination and read a good book.

Support for the Reading Road Trip is provided by Blank Children’s Hospital, Casey’s General Stores and The Coons Foundation. Learn more at Iptv.org/clubhouse.
