Run in for our sports and wellness Summer Reading Program! We start on Tuesday, June 14, with an Olympic kick-off, then we have Nursery Rhyme Relays, and on June 28, we will center ourselves with some yoga.

Join us around the fireplace for a cup of coffee or iced tea.
Tween Time Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m.
Jump into some crafts, activities and discussions for ages 8-12. We will decide what we will focus on this summer at the first session on June 15.
Sit N Stitch
Thursdays, 6-8 p.m.
Bring your current project, and join the stitching around the fireplace.
Men’s Friday Coffee, 10 a.m.-noon
Gentlemen, drop in for some coffee and conversation. Enjoy spending time and having a few laughs or interesting discussions with other men from around the area.

Join Julie Frances Miller as she shares her family’s history of becoming pioneers in the state of Iowa, the love and the bond to the land you have when owning a Century Farm, and the chores, hard work and fun times of growing up on a farm, many of which were strikingly similar to the Ingalls family.
Teen Yoga Program

Animal Athletes with the Blank Park Zoo

What if animals had their own Olympics? Which animals would be best at the high jump? Which ones would excel in swimming? Ponder these fun scenarios with a zoo educator and four live animals from our education department.
Eating Well for Weight Loss

Learn the ins and outs on how to eat better to support your weight loss goals with the Johnston Hy-Vee’s registered and licensed dietitian, Kari.
