VisionBank is home to a new collection of art for the summer, courtesy of Ballard High School graduating seniors.

This is the second gallery show the Huxley VisionBank location has hosted since their new building opened in March. Continuing their partnership with Ballard High School art teacher, Amy Endres, the bank will serve as a place for the public to view the creative works accomplished by students in the BHS art program, with special attention given to the 2016 graduating seniors.

Eve Lederhouse, marketing and communications officer for VisionBank, says, “The Ballard Community School District was very pleased with our offer to use our building as a venue to highlight accomplishments of local students that might otherwise be overlooked. And we get tremendous benefit to having amazing works of art surrounding us each day,” Lederhouse continues.

The BHS seniors selected to have their works on display include: Sarah Albers, Brianna Cellan, David DeTar, Ben Fagen, John Fleenor, Olivia Hall, Elena Hikiji, Chase McLaughlin, Ashley Michelson, Gloria Przybyszewski, Penelope Riggins and Sam Stalder. The collection is comprised of a variety of mediums including paint, pen and ink, stained glass and nontraditional pieces.
