Story Time Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m.

Run in for our sports and wellness Summer Reading Program! We start on Tuesday, June 14, with an Olympic kick-off, then we have Nursery Rhyme Relays, and on June 28, we will center ourselves with some yoga.

Coffee Wednesdays, 10-Noon

Join us around the fireplace for a cup of coffee or iced tea.

Tween Time Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m.

Jump into some crafts, activities and discussions for ages 8-12. We will decide what we will focus on this summer at the first session on June 15.

Sit N Stitch

Thursdays, 6-8 p.m.

Bring your current project, and join the stitching around the fireplace.

Men’s Friday Coffee, 10 a.m.-noon

Gentlemen, drop in for some coffee and conversation. Enjoy spending time and having a few laughs or interesting discussions with other men from around the area.

Wednesday Book Club

Open Cribbage

June 2, 1 p.m.

Join us the first Thursday of the month, all levels welcome. Bring a friend and let’s have some fun! Bring your own cribbage board or use ours.

Meditate Your Way to Better Health!

June 2, 6:30 p.m.,Is meditation just woo woo, new age stuff…or is there real benefit to it? Join Dr. JoAnn Tully, DC, for a discussion on the benefits of meditation, what it is, how you do it and why it should be an important part of your regular routine for better health and mental clarity. We will even do a short meditation so you can experience this for yourself!

Patriotic Flip-Flop Wreath Workshop

June 9, 6 p.m., Flip flops just aren’t for wearing! Join Library Director Kim Kellogg and learn how to make a patriotic flip-flop wreath. Supplies will be provided for a plain wreath, but feel free to bring embellishments to make it your own style. Class size is limited! Preregistration is required by June 3 at 515-984-6119.

Teen Henna Program

June 13, 6:30 p.m.. Henna artist Sarah Norman will discuss the history of the art, as well as demonstrate and instruct. There is no cost for the program. Preregistration is required, from May 31-June 9. There is space for 20 participants between the ages of 13-19. Call the library at 515-984-6119 to register.
