COLO – The Collins-Maxwell-Baxter boys’ golf team struggled to keep up with Bondurant-Farrar, Colfax-Mingo and Colo-Nesco in a quadrangular meet May 8 at the Twin Anchors Golf Course near Colo.

The Raiders shot a 329 over nine holes to finish fourth in the team race. Bondurant-Farrar won with a 225, Colfax-Mingo took second with a team score of 288 and Colo-Nesco shot a 31l.

Caleb Van Zante had the top round for CMB as he shot a 48. Jake Hennick was close behind with a 49.

Brevin Johnston finished with a 54 and Sean Deakins shot a 57 to round out the counted scores for the Raiders. Colfax-Mingo’s Jimmy Abel was the medalist after shooting a 40.

Final team scores (nine holes): 1. Bondurant-Farrar 225, 2. Colfax-Mingo 288, 3. Colo-Nesco 311, 4. CMB 329.
