Winning pitcher Kylee Sanders allowed just three hits from the circle and banged out three hits of her own to lead eighth-ranked (Class 2A) Louisa-Muscatine to a 5-2 softball victory over West Burlington-Notre Dame at Letts Wednesday night.

Katie Hearn and Katie Koppe each had two hits for Louisa-Muscatine. Mckenna Hohenadel doubled.

Madelyn Stutsman, Lexy Davis and Molly Johnson each singled for West Burlington-Notre Dame. The game snapped the Falcons' winning streak at seven games.

Louisa-Muscatine (19-3) plays Highland in a SEI Superconference North Division game at Riverside today. West Burlington-Notre Dame (10-7) hosts Pekin Friday.

Bryce Mennen led West Burlington with a 3-for-5 outing with four RBIs. Colton Hohenthaner, Dreyton LaVeine, Masin Shullaw and Taylor Martin each had two hits. Gabe Zurita was the winning pitcher, giving up just one hit in four innings. Jacob Fritz pitched the final inning in relief.
