Elsie Mosebach, 86, passed way from cancer, in the comfort of Iowa River Hospice on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. She was surrounded by family.

Elsie Marie Vetter was born April 28, 1932, the daughter of Carl and Anna (Shultz) Vetter. She graduated from Sheldahl High School in 1950. On July 11, 1952, she was united in marriage to Robert Mosebach. Elsie was a member of the St. John United Church of Christ in Melbourne. She enjoyed Ladies Fellowship and quilting with her church friends. She also loved sewing, bowling, crossword puzzles, playing cards, cooking, but most of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving Elsie are her daughters, Becky (John) Williams of Overland Park, KS, Brenda (Greg) Krause of Albuquerque, NM, and Bobbie (Rich) Fisher of Troy, OH; along with six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, husband, Bob, son, Barry and daughter, Bonnie. Elsie passed away just 5 days after her husband Bob (on what would have been their 66th wedding anniversary). Their wish was to be cremated, have a joint funeral and be buried together.

That special service took place on Monday, July 16, at St. John United Church of Christ in Melbourne, IA.
