Huxley Library’s Universe of Stories programs for the kids may be over for the summer, but this evening (Aug. 8), the library has one last event to celebrate everything space and highlight the work of local author Rachel Aukes.

Rachel will be at the Huxley Public Library at 6 p.m. to share about writing her series titled Fringe. This five-book series has been popular with both teens and adults in the library and we’re looking forward to hearing more about the writing, as well as talking about other books Rachel has written.

Please join us for an evening of good conversation and fun at the Huxley Public Library. In addition to Rachel’s visit, we’ll have space activities for the kids, space snacks and moon cookies, and a showing of the Apollo 11 documentary at 7:30.

Also, mark your calendar for Sept. 23. We’ll be hosting author and speaker Linda McCann at our first library brunch.
