Nolte, Cornman & Johnson P.C. released an audit report July 8 on Collins-Maxwell Community School District .


The District’s revenues totaled $6,819,472 for the year ended June 30, 2018, a 3.62 percent increase from the prior year. Revenues included property tax of $2,232,125, income surtax of $18,809, statewide sales, services and use tax of$454,486, charges for service of$572,621, operating grants, contributions and restricted interest of$490,776, unrestricted state grants of$3,007,750, unrestricted interest of$1 l,957 and other general revenues of$30,948.


Expenses for District operations for the year ended June 30, 2018 totaled $7,236,445, a 14.20 percent increase from the prior year. Expenses included $3,268,620 in regular instruction, $953,890 in other instruction and $941,922 in special instruction.
