April 17: Officer served an arrest warrant at the 600 block of Railroad Street. A 49-year-old male was transported to the Jasper County Line and turned over to Newton PD.
April 28: Officer stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Railroad and Water Street. The drive of the vehicle, a 20-year-old Cambridge man, was suspended from driving. He was cited and released with a court date for Driving under Suspension.
Huxley officers had two arrests for the month — one was for Driving Under Suspension and the other was an arrest warrant that was served. Officers issued six citations for traffic violations, gave 10 warnings, received 12 calls for service and had a total of 57 contacts for the month. Officers used 8.5 hours toward investigations or answering calls for service and gave 90 hours of general patrol.
