Keontae Luckett returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown, starting New London High School on the way to a 59-6 win over English Valleys on Friday night.

Luckett rushed for 150 yards and scored two touchdowns. Isaac McSorley rushed for 151 yards and four touchdowns.

Darius Whaley had a 28-yard touchdown reception for the Tigers. Roberto Carrillo had a 35-yard field goal.

Whaley had seven tackles. Jordan Johnson had six. McSorley and Ryan Ritchey each had interceptions.

MOUNT PLEASANT 47, FORT MADISON 7: Zach Beason threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score as the Panthers rolled.

Beason was 31-of-45 passing for 430 yards. The Panthers had 592 yards of offense.

Rylan Seberg had 11 catches for 190 yards. Chase Lamm had eight catches for 123 yards.

LONE TREE 49, WINFIELD-MOUNT UNION 29: Daunte Oepping scored two touchdowns and threw for two in the Wolves' loss.

Oepping had a 52-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and a 2-yard run in the fourth. Oepping's 7-yard touchdown pass to Christian Gerot closed the scoring. He also had an 8-yard touchdown pass to Collin Hinkle in the third quarter.

Oepping threw for 198 yards and rushed for 87.

WAPELLO 24, SIGOURNEY-KEOTA 14: Ricky Pforts rushed for 214 yards and two touchdowns as the Indians took the road win.

Noah Holland threw a touchdown pass to Caden Thomas for the Indians' other touchdown.

Hector Zepeda added a field goal for Wapello.

ILLINI WEST 54, RUSHVILLE-INDUSTRY 14: Colton Sargeant and Nick Vorhies each scored twice for the Chargers in the road win.

Illini West had 421 yards of offense.

Vorhies rushed for 188 yards on 11 carrers. Sargeant had just three carries, but rushed for 82 yards.
