CRESTON - The Ballard girls’ tennis team easily disposed of Creston by an 8-1 score Monday at Creston.


Ballard swept all six singles matches to secure the win and improve to 3-1 on the season.


Anna Zielke turned in the most dominant performance for Ballard in singles play with an 8-0 shutout over Chloe Hagle in the No. 2 match. Kari Holmes won the No. 3 match over Heylee Shields by an 8-1 score, Kate Rietz toppled Creston’s Megan Haley by an 8-2 margin in the No. 1 match and Sarah Camp also won the No.6 match over Karly Calvin by an 8-2 decision.


Lindsey Kaldenberg and Hannah Elliott each delivered an 8-6 victory for Ballard in singles play. Kaldenberg edged Sara Williamson in the No. 4 match and Elliott outlasted Maddie Frey in the No. 5 match.


Ballard took the Nos. 1 and 3 matches in doubles play.


Rietz and Zielke coatsted to an 8-2 win over Haley and Hagle in the No. 1 match. Elliott and Camp blanked Frey and Calvin in the No. 3 match.
