ALLEMAN - Big games from Alec Boletta and Colin Swygman on offense and strong defense lifted North Polk past Collins-Maxwell-Baxter, 6-2, in boys’ soccer May 2 at Alleman.


Boletta recorded a hat-trick with three goals and Swygman handed out three assists for the Comets. Keegan Dorr added one goal and assist apiece and Luke McCoy and Kade McCullough each chipped in one goal.


Josh Bruntz and Ryan Sabastiano each netted one goal for CMB in a losing effort. Carter Merryman chipped in one shot on goal.


CMB keeper Brendyn Padget made 11 saves on the evening. Christopher Martinez tallied two saves for North Polk.


The win put North Polk at 3-5 on the season. CMB fell to 3-8.
