We would like to let the owners of 34 Raceway, Brad Stevens and Jessi Mynatt, know they are much appreciated by the Hetrick family.

On August 18, they went above and beyond to see that our family had a memorable evening of racing honoring our late son Brian.

Kristin Logan, representing the Sprint Invaders Association, initiated the special event, spending countless hours helping make it happen.  Her work was much appreciated too.

Recognition also goes to The Hawk Eye's award-winning sports writer, Matt Levins. His expertise in covering Brian is always superb. Those articles will remain a part of our beloved son's precious scrapbook.

Our many friends and the fans all contributed to a successful memorable night.

Brian's 2008 track champion original sprint car hood with a large print of Brian's final win with the Sprint Invaders' Shake Up Dash on August 1, 2008, were raffled off.

Mediapolis' Dave Nollen was grateful his ticket was drawn by Kevin Hetrick's daughter, Kaylee, with proceeds going to the Brian Hetrick Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The gratitude, generosity, and support at 34 Raceway on the very special night honoring the tenth anniversary of Brian's passing will always be remembered and never forgotten.
