It is with great sadness that the family of Kermit K. McCutchan, who lived in Huxley for many years, announces his passing after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, August 16th, at the age of 77 years. Kermit will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Gina (Jeff); his daughter Tracy (Rob); and 3 grandchildren, Taylor, Hailey and Sophie; and his special friend, Sadie. He will also be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law, Aleene and Mildred, and their families. He was proceeded in death by his brothers Halley and Marcus McCutchan, wife Mardean, son Kane and grandson, Cassidy.

Kermit was a free spirit who always loved the Southwest, and after living many years in Iowa, decided to finally move back to the desert skies soon after he retired. He loved a good cup of coffee, road trips, especially down Route 66, and spending time telling crazy stories to his kids and grandkids.

A private service will be held ( to be determined) with interment in the Grand River, Iowa, cemetery. Donations in Kermit’s name may be made to: The American Cancer Society. His arrangements were made by The Neptune Society, Tucson, AZ.
