Due to recent heavy rains, lake levels at Saylorville Lake are rising. The following boat ramps are now closed: Cherry Glen (Lower), Lakeview Main, Lincoln Access and Sandpiper Boat Ramp. Both Oak Grove and Sandpiper Beaches are now closed.
Lakeview High and Cherry Glen Upper Boat Ramps are open. Parking is extremely limited. Once parking has filled to capacity the ramps will be closed.
Boating conditions may be hazardous on Saylorville Lake due to submerged facilities and floating debris. Not all debris is visible; much of the debris lies just under the surface of the water. Extreme caution should be taken if persons operate their vessels on the lake. We encourage all vessel occupants to wear their PFD’s (life jackets) at all times.
In addition to boat ramps and beaches, a section of the Neal Smith Trail will be closed due to high water North of Prairie Flower Campground to the Saylorville Lake Marina starting Saturday June 1st.
