Emily Miller of Colo earned third place in the Equine Specialist competition at the 2014 Iowa Postsecondary Agricultural Student Spring Leadership Conference, held on the ECC campus in Iowa Falls. She will advance to the national competition in St. Cloud, Minn., in March.

Victoria Johnston of Nevada has been named to the honor list for the past fall semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 GPA to qualify for this list.

Sydni Loney and Brook Thompson both from Nevada, were named to the president’s list at Simpson College for the fall semester. To be named to the president’s list, a student must have a GPA of 4.0.

Laura Alt of Nevada was named to the dean’s list at Simpson College for the fall semester. To be so named, a student must have a GPA of 3.70 – 3.99.
