2/23: Officer took a report of an overdue motorist driving from Minnesota. The overdue motorist was not answering phone calls and had not checked in for quite some time. An attempt to locate request for area officers was placed with dispatch to all area agencies. The driver was located later in the day and found to be fine.
2/25: Officer took a theft report at the 100 block of Water Street. A vehicle that had been parked on the street for quite some time had mirrors, windshield wipers and a trailer hitch removed. The owner of the vehicle had moved from town and had just gotten back to gather the vehicle when they noticed the missing items.
Huxley officers had no arrests for the month. Three citations were issued for traffic offenses and 17 warnings were given. Huxley officers had 12.25 hours of investigations, answering calls or providing assistance, and 55 hours of general patrol. Officers received 17 calls for service or information, and had a total of 55 contacts.
