This is the last full week of a busy month in Maxwell, and like I mentioned, every weekend there is something going on! But I need to get out Trick or Treat info for all the little GHOSTS and GOBLINS in Maxwell too; that is the most important — when can they go out for candy! The town scheduled Trick or Treat night to be on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 6 to 8 p.m. Please plan taking your little ones to the Methodist Church for their annual Light the Night event, 5:30-7:30 p.m. They will have candy, games and prizes for all ages.

But a first in town this year, a Haunted House! Located at Pal’s Fieldhouse on Oct. 30 and 31, from 6-9 p.m. both nights. Admission will be $5 per person and the proceeds are going to the Maxwell Food Pantry. I have heard it will be very scary, and they had not posted an age range as of today, so it might be enter at your own risk. If parents have questions about how scary it might be for their children, please talk to them at Pal’s before you enter.

This coming Saturday, the Maxwell Firefighters will be hosting their annual “Hunters Breakfast” fundraiser at the station. Serving at 6:30 until 10:30 a.m. Take-out containers are available, and they will have all the favorites. Even cinnamon rolls! Proceeds will go towards their Christmas Candy Fund, so they can help out Santa when he visits Maxwell in December.
