We are excited to welcome the League of Women Voters to the library on Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. This is a nonpartisan event to help you register to vote, by absentee or in person. Also, get information on how to research candidates and be an informed voter! Friends of the Library will be providing a light supper, so don’t let anything get in the way of being prepared to VOTE. The election is Nov. 6.

This month we also are offering a special after-hours event on Sunday, Oct. 21, at 5:30 p.m. Professional storyteller Denise Franck will be here to share spooky stories and get us ready for Halloween. These are stories for teens and adults, and we’ll supply some popcorn to get you through the suspense.

We never forget the kids and stories they need. Check out Know & Grow every Wednesday morning at 9:30. Jessica is ready with songs, stories and fun for the toddlers and preschoolers.

Friends of the Library Vendor Fair is coming soon, too - Nov. 17, in the Safe Room. Support the library with great holiday shopping.
