Join us on Thursday, July 19, at 10:30 a.m. for our last performer of the summer, Blank Park Zoo. Then stay for lunch and lots of fun activities and games! Remember, adult summer reading logs need to be turned in by Aug. 1.


Coffee Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-noon


Join us around the fireplace for a cup of coffee or iced tea.


Sit N Stitch, Thursdays, 6-8 p.m.


Bring your current project, and join the stitching around the fireplace.


Men’s Friday Coffee, 10 a.m.-noon


Gentlemen, drop in for some coffee and conversation. Enjoy spending time and having a few laughs or interesting discussions with other men from around the area.

Christmas in July — DIY Creative Christmas Cards


Tuesday, July 10, 6 p.m.


Make and take eight Christmas cards, four designs. A variety of techniques will be demonstrated. Beginners welcome, preregistration is required. There will be a $5 material fee, payable at the program. Children 12 and older are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

The Friends very successful ring toss (held on the Town Square) needs two-liter pop donations or monetary donations! Please make your donations at the Polk City Community Library by Thursday, July 19. All proceeds from the ring toss are used to enhance the Polk City Community Library facilities and their programs.
