History Boy Theatre Company in Jefferson is happy to present its regional theatre goers with “Hands On A Hardbody.”

Hands On A Hardbody features 10 hard-luck Texans trying to gain a new lease on life, and it’s so close they can touch it. Standing days under a fervent sun with nothing more than hope, aspiration, and humor they will fight to keep their hands on a brand-new Nissan hardbody truck in order to win it. In the arduous contest that is Hands On A Hardbody only one can drive away with the American dream. Inspired by the true events of the 1997 documentary of the same name, this musical is sure to have you laughing.

“Hands On A Hardbody” will open on the History Boy stage June 8 at 7 p.m. with five more performances to follow. Tickets are now on sale for $15. You can obtain tickets by calling 515-370-5369, or by visiting https://historyboytheatreco.ticketleap.com/hands-on-a-hard-body/.
