An Installation Ceremony was held for Tammy Tran-Barabin on April 26 at the US Post Office in Huxley. The new Postmaster has been working for the United States Postal Service since 2007 when she joined as a letter carrier in Oregon. She has since filled many postal roles including supervisor or customer service, acting manager and officer in charge. Born in Vietnam and raised in Southern California, Tran-Barabin attended Washington State University before moving to Oregon in 1998. She and her husband, Bryan, have three sons, Keenan 17, Kalanikai 11 and Kalei 7. Tran-Barabin is excited to be a part of the Huxley Post Office and enjoys traveling with her family, exploring new places and watching her boys in their various activities. Photo by Kim Harms
