Iowa State University Extension and Outreach-Story County will offer a QuickBooks for Farms and Businesses course to anyone interested in learning how to use QuickBooks for their business on Thursday, Nov. 30, from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. The program will be presented at the Story County Extension and Outreach Office at 220 H Ave. in Nevada.

This course will provide basic instruction on using QuickBooks for business management purposes. Participants will develop the skills necessary to use QuickBooks in their businesses. These tools are beneficial in monitoring business finances and developing business management plans.

The class is presented through a mobile computer lab to demonstrate the program. You do NOT need to bring your own computer.

Bryan Ziegler will be the instructor for the one-day course. Bryan is the director of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa. He earned his MBA from Western Illinois University, and has nearly 30 years of experience serving as the SBDC director.
