This has been a record-breaking summer for the Huxley Public Library. Over 250 kids a week have enjoyed the summer reading program.
Last week things wound up for the summer with special visits from Kreg Tool. Billy Hoffmeyer and Casey Kerkmann have been in the library teaching preschoolers about hammers, pliers and screwdrivers. The elementary kids are getting hands-on experience and taking away an oak picture frame. Thank you Kreg Tool for the time, supplies and teaching our kids. The library is also excited to accept their donation of Lego learning kits and Duplo blocks. The new Lego table should be ready for hands-on play this week.
One more big program at the library for the adults happened this past Monday evening, when the library is hosted a potluck supper. Foods were shared by people that correlated to books they had read over the summer!
See you soon at the library!
