Successful Farming, the most successful and recognizable brand in the agricultural industry, this week released its list of “10 Up & Comers,” part of its special “10”-themed June/July issue featuring several lists of agricultural interest.

Grant Kimberley, director of market development for the Iowa Soybean Association, is one of Successful Farming’s people to watch in agriculture. Kimberley, of Ankeny, still works on his family’s farm near Maxwell.

The 10 individuals profiled by Successful Farming are young innovators influencing the agricultural industry and how it operates today and in the future.

In his role at the Iowa Soybean Association in Ankeny, Kimberley is building relationships and creating demand for soybeans and soybean products. He visits international markets to communicate the value, consistency and sustainability of U.S. soybeans, and to build trust with customers, governmental officials and others. Kimberley has discovered that, when prices are similar, trusted relationships win out. He works to bring together buyers and farmers, and establish real connections.

“At Successful Farming, we know our audience includes some of the most innovative, forward-thinking and ambitious agricultural professionals,” said Dave Kurns, editorial content director of Successful Farming. “With this special issue, we wanted to recognize some of our readers who are forging new paths and discovering untapped and inventive avenues to bolster their businesses and improve the agricultural industry. The 10 individuals featured are bringing fresh eyes and new outlooks to agriculture, demonstrating the talent in the industry and the many opportunities for expansion and even greater impact on the world’s food supply.”
