Story Time Tuesdays: 10:30 a.m.

Hurry in for our Build a Better World summer reading program! We start on Tuesday, June 13, with stories focusing on ways to improve our world.

Coffee Wednesdays: 10 a.m.-noon

Join us around the fireplace for a cup of coffee or iced tea.

Tween Time: Wednesdays, 1-3 p.m.

Jump into some crafts, activities and discussions for ages 8-12. Activities include making blankets and fairy gardens for the nursing home, origami activities and more!

Sit N Stitch: Thursdays, 6-8 p.m.

Come knit, crochet and quilt with us!

Men’s Friday Coffee: 10 a.m.-noon

Gentlemen, drop in for some coffee and conversation. Enjoy spending time and having a few laughs or interesting discussions with other men from around the area.

Summer reading programs for all ages start in June, “Build a Better World.”

• June 22: Science Center of Iowa presents Building Blunders.

Join us as we learn about some famous building blunders that topple, tilt or twirl while experiencing the marvels of engineering.

• June 29: Hanson Family: Learn to juggle with scarves, spin plates and balance nifty paper cones!

Open Cribbage: Thursday, June 1, 1 p.m.

Join us the first Thursday of the month. Bring a friend and let’s have some fun! Use our cribbage board or bring your own and all levels are welcome.

Wednesday Book Club: June 7, 7 p.m.

“The Underground Railroad” by Colson Whitehead…WHAT IF the Underground Railroad was a literal railroad?

Adult Coloring: Thursday, June 8, 6 p.m.

Join us for a RELAXING evening. Coloring pages from books designed especially for adults, as well as colored pencils, will be provided. You are also welcome to bring your own! 18 and older, or 16-17 when accompanied by an adult.

Monday Movie Matinee: Monday, June 12, 1 p.m.

Come enjoy “Big” with us. After wishing to be made big, a teenage boy wakes the next morning to find himself mysteriously in the body of an adult. Rated PG, 104 Minutes You are welcome to bring pillows, blankets and snacks.
