Collins-Maxwell FFA hosted an Ag Awareness Day at the elementary in Collins on Monday, May 15. Elementary students rotated to ten different stations that were lead by FFA members. The stations included combine safety, skid loader safety, John Deere Gator™ safety, sprayer safety, piglet care, bunny hopping, turkey care, butter-making, ERTL display scenario and planting the elementary garden. The Collins-Maxwell FFA would like to thank the following: Van Wall for the use of the combine, Elliott Stock Farms for the use of the sprayer, Struthers Farms for the piglets, Rease Morris for the rabbit and turkeys, Kasper’s for the Gator, and Coughenour’s for the skid loader. It was a great day to learn about agriculture!
