During the upcoming “EMS Week,” May 22-26, Huxley Fire and Rescue will be out in the community assisting citizens in filling out emergency information sheets. These sheets have the information that EMS providers can use in case you are unable to communicate with them. Sheets will be supplied at no cost to our citizens.

Huxley Fire and Rescue will provide each person assistance in completing one of these sheets, five highly visible copies, to place on the refrigerator or on the night stand next to their bed. Anyone that would like to fill out a sheet should bring a list of medications (or bring their medications), emergency contact information, physician information and medical history information to one of the locations listed below.

Huxley Fire and Rescue will be in the parking lots at the following locations:

• Huxley City Hall, 525 N. Main St. — Monday, May 22, 9–11 a.m.; Tuesday, May 23, 5–6:30 p.m.; Wednesday, May 24, 9–11 a.m.; Thursday, May 25, 6–7:30 p.m.; Friday, May 26, 9–11 a.m.

Please come out and see the new ambulance, talk with Huxley EMS personnel and get your emergency information sheets filled out.

A special thank-you to Lines & Designs, Inc. for assistance in designing emergency sheets and donating the paper and to Quick’s Hardware Hank for the use of the parking lot and the continued support.

Thank you to the city and the community for all of your continued support.
