Cambridge:


April 7: Cambridge American Legion Fish Fry, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m, at the Legion building on Water Street. All you can eat for $10 includes baked potato, beans and coleslaw. Carryout starts at 4 p.m.


April 7: Dan Jones, guitarist and singer, will be playing at The Tattered Toad in Cambridge, starting at 8 p.m.


April 8: Museum of Ag Heritage breakfast will be held from 7-10 a.m. at the Cambridge Community Center. The cost is $7 for all you can eat. Enjoy eggs to order, pancakes, coffee and biscuits and gravy. Begin your weekend with friends and neighbors in Cambridge.


April 8: Meat and Cheese Palooza at the Tattered Toad Bar and Grill in Cambridge at 3 p.m. ABATE fundraiser for families in Story County — “Bikin’ for Tykes.”


Huxley:


April 8: Fill the trailer for the Backpack Buddies and Food Pantry at the Fareway parking lot in Huxley, starting at 9 a.m. Fareway also will offer specials to help fill the trailer with nonperishable food items. Monetary donations will be accepted for Ballard Kiwanis Vision and Dental Program.


BCPAA Band and Chorus Invitation


BCPAA invites you to join the community band and chorus as it starts its rehearsal schedule for the summer concert season. Members of all ages and talent who have a desire to play or sing music are welcome to join. Rehearsals will begin on April 17 at the Ballard High School in Huxley, with the band rehearsing at 6:30 p.m. and chorus rehearsing at 7:40 p.m.
