Hats Off to the Holidays

A Vendor Show will be held at the Maxwell Community Center on Dec. 7. Hours will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lots of new vendors will be there this year, so plan on getting some of your holiday shopping done!

Scoot’s Automotive to remain open during owner’s temporary absence

Scoot has gone NORTH to Alaska, well to Dead Horse, Alaska, to be exact. But don’t worry, he will be back! Just a little change to the work schedule at Scoot’s Automotive; owner Jeff Suntken has gone back to working in Alaska and will be gone for three weeks at a time. But then he will be back in town for three weeks before he heads back out again.

Jeff would like all his dedicated customers and any future customers not to worry; he isn’t closing up shop, just rearranging hours. When he is out on the road, his daughter Ashley will be scheduling appointments for major repairs when Jeff is back in town, but she will be able to take care of some of the other small jobs while Jeff is gone. Ashley will be doing oil changes, tranny service, spark plug changes and tire changes. So please call the shop number just like always to schedule, and they will still take good care of you, 515-393-1795.

Santa Claus is coming to town

Santa Claus will be coming to the Maxwell Fire Station on Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. to see all the good little boys and girls! So get your Christmas lists ready and go see Santa - don’t be late.
