The 4-H meeting of the Country Pioneers started at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8. Emma Buchanan called the meeting to order at 4:21 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Isabel Buchanan. The secretary’s report was read. Morgan McEnany moved to approve the report and Isabel Buchanan seconded the motion. The treasurer’s report was read and Morgan McEnany moved to approve the report. The motion was seconded by Isabel Buchanan.

Unfinished business was to pay Mid-State Milling for the bedding we sold at county fair. Isabel Buchanan moved to pay the bill and Sam McKinney seconded the motion.

New business was that we will receive a check from the fair board for bedding they bought at the county fair. We decided that we would have the money instead go toward new windows for the community building on the fairgrounds. Morgan McEnany moved to use the money toward new windows and Savannah Deupree seconded the motion. National 4-H Week is from Oct. 6 to Oct. 12.

Leader’s report was that re-enrollment can be done online.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:45 p.m. Zach Jamison moved to adjourn the meeting and Isabel Buchanan seconded the motion. The 4-H Pledge was led by Caitlyn Riese.
