Ted Clement, 84 of King, WI died on June 5, 2013 at the Wisconsin Veteran’s Home where he resided. He was born September 16, 1928 in Collins, IA to Leanard and Charlotte Carver Clement.
Ted graduated from North High in Minneapolis and then attended the Dunwoody Institute graduating with a specialty in electronics. He opened his own TV repair shop in Collins, IA prior to going into the US Navy from 1950 – 1954 during the Korean War, where he continued his Electronics work on the USS Neches. Following his service he held several positions as an Electric Technician in the Chicago, IL and New York areas prior to moving to Rhinelander, WI in 1978. While in Rhinelander he continued working until his retirement.
Ted married Lila Fredericks in 1952 and enjoyed 52 years of life together until her death in 2004.
Ted is survived by his daughter Laurie (Tom ) Wille of Streamwood, IL ; two sisters Bonnie (Joe) Birchmier of Maxwell, IA and Shirley Clement of Waterloo, IA. And many nieces and nephews.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Charlotte Carver Clement, his wife Lila and an infant brother.
Funeral and burial were in Rhineland, WI.
